Boys Varsity Soccer Ends Fantastic Season

Aaron D. '19
The Park School Boys Varsity Soccer Team had a tremendous season this year. Practice began in mid-August and extended until the end of October. Headed by Coach Sean Leggio, the team led the Independent Athletic Conference League with an undefeated regular season with 12 wins and 0 losses. Conference championships were on October 27th against The Gow School. Amidst a terrible storm including wind, rain, and sleet, The Park School emerged victorious by a score of 3-0. During the Championships, the team learned that they had been selected to go to New York City for States. The team left for New York on October 30th and faced Dalton for their first game of the tournament. Sadly, The Park School was eliminated in the first round. Despite this heartbreaking loss, the team enjoyed the opportunity and took the time to celebrate their impressive season at home. The team is thankful for the Park community for their overwhelming support, and they hope to return even stronger next year.
