“Even though all three of my children have graduated from Park, I think it’s necessary to remember and credit Park for helping them to develop into wonderful adults who are still learning, who were taught they needed to be successful in life, who still value the incredible Park teachers who helped them."

“Park has been such an integral part of our family that becoming a member of the 1912 Legacy Society was just a natural extension of my intentions to continually support the School. It is a small thing to do compared to what Park gave to my children and me. I had never before been surrounded by a community that was so dedicated to the healthy development of children.

“Even though all three of my children have graduated from Park, I think it’s necessary to remember and credit Park for helping them to develop into wonderful adults who are still learning, who were taught they needed to be successful in life, who still value the incredible Park teachers who helped them.

“Since my children still have to finish college and graduate school with the related expenses, I chose to leave a pre-determined amount for Park in my will. My plan is to provide for each of my children through their Master’s programs, then to revisit my overall giving to Park and increase the ways that I can provide gifts to the School in the future.

“During my years on the Board of Trustees at Park, there were Planned Gifts that became available. Sad as we all were to lose supportive members of our community, we were incredibly grateful that they chose to remember Park with a gift.

“With the increasing cost of private education, Planned Giving will play a greater role than ever in providing scholarships to the wonderful children who will become Park’s future.”
