Dear Park School Alumni,

I am so delighted to start my new role as President of the Park School Alumni Association!

The Association is an incredible way to connect with your fellow classmates and with the entire Park community. I recently became reacquainted with the Association after returning to Buffalo two years ago.  Becoming a Buffalo "boomerang" has many perks - chief of which has been getting reacquainted with a school that truly lives by its motto, veritas et gaudium - truth and joy.  Working at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery affords me a front row seat to Buffalo’s resurgence, which is benefiting Park with new families and opportunities connecting Park to the community.

Through Park's Alumni Association, we seek to continue to support Park's mission by fostering connections with one another and the School.  As always, we welcome you to attend our regular Alumni Association meetings, and to join us at events such as Country FairAuctionCountdown to Commencement Dinner, and Reunion.  Even if it's been years since you last stepped foot on campus, we'd love to have you join us again and to see what's new at Park.

This year, we're excited to feature the launch of our new Affinity Groups - facilitating alumni connections across similar industries (e.g., law, marketing, finance, etc.).  If you'd like to join an Affinity Group, or would like any additional information about Park's events, please reach out to the Park Alumni Association via the Development Office at 716-839-1243 x103 or via email at

And, of course, don't forget you can follow Park online on FacebookLinkedInTwitter, or Instagram

Wishing everyone all the best for another successful year, and I hope to see you on campus soon!

Founded in 1912, The Park School of Buffalo has the distinction of being one the oldest Progressive schools in the country. Park is an independent, co-educational school serving approximately 300 students enrolled in prekindergarten (3 and 4 year olds), lower school (kindergarten through grade 4), middle school (grades 5 through 8), and upper school (grades 9 through 12). Park is uniquely situated on 34 beautiful acres in Amherst, New York. The School’s campus – formerly a farm – includes a pond, marsh, gardens, and a greenhouse while being located just minutes from downtown Buffalo and easily accessible from many communities throughout Western New York. Park’s educational philosophy embraces active, student-centered learning, delivered by exceptional teachers who design and continuously update a robust curriculum. Faculty members approach each student as an individual within the context of a kind and respectful community. From the preschool years through college preparation, The Park School of Buffalo helps learners realize their own unique potentials and prepares them to be confident, successful, life-long learners.
