MS Pioneer of the Week - Week of September 30

Each week, the MS Dean of Students will select a student or group of students to recognize as the Pioneer(s) of the Week in order celebrate excellence in student leadership and strengthen Park's commitment to creating a learning environment that encourages positive outcomes for all students

This week, the entire 8th Grade class was selected as Pioneers of the Week. Last Friday, MS students traveled to Buffalo Ski Club and participated in "survivor skills" activities for Bonding Day. 8th graders had several tasks; they needed to gather necessary materials and build a fort large enough to hold everyone. After, they had to start a small fire and boil water with only a small amount of materials. The students worked well together to accomplish both tasks. They were true examples of leaders for their younger classmates. We are so proud of their behavior and the support they gave one another. Great job, 8th graders!
