Lower School Positive Pioneers - September

Park School’s Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Kindness are important to the daily life in Lower School. Classroom teachers recognize their students for behavior that exemplifies these values by highlighting "Park's Positive Pioneers" each month. Congratulations to these young Pioneers!

Kindergarten
Patrick S. is definitely a Positive Pioneer in Kindergarten. He demonstrates all of Park's Core Values every day. Volunteering to help a friend to complete a difficult puzzle is one example of Patrick's kind, respectful, and responsible nature. The Kindergarten teachers are happy to have Patrick as a part of our class! We are so proud of you, Patrick!

Grade 1
The first grade would like to recognize Penny O. for her acts of kindness. When a friend was hurt on the playground, Penny stopped what she was doing and went over to make sure her friend was okay. She then helped her over to Mrs. Thomas and helped communicate what had happened. She stayed to make sure her friend was okay and then invited her to play. This is exactly what being a kind and positive Park Pioneer is all about. We are so proud of you, Penny! Keep it up!

Grade 2
Second Grade would like to recognize Mikey K. for being a wonderful example of Park’s Life Rules… Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Kindness! Mikey is brand new to Park School and has already shown many times that he is respectful, responsible, honest, and kind! Because of this Mikey has already made many new friends throughout Lower School. Thanks, Mikey, for being you! And thank you for joining the Second Grade class at Park School! We are SO glad you did!

Grade 3
Grade 3 and Mr. Downey would like to recognize Miss Natalie S. for her kindness and responsibility. Not only has Natalie been elected by her classmates as a Grade 3 student government representative, but Natalie consistently keeps her classmates on their toes. She is honest and routinely helps her friends clean up. She also assists her classmates with any questions or challenges they may have. These wonderful characteristics made Mr. Downey's choice very easy for his first Positive Pioneer of the year! Way to go Natalie! Park is proud of you!

Grade 4
Fourth grade would like to recognize Gabriel W. as our September Positive Pioneer. Gabriel is a gentle and kind young man. He offers to share his snack when a classmate does not have one, is extremely thoughtful and helpful around the classroom, and is always a loyal friend. He has strength and confidence in himself and knows what it means to respect others. Gabriel is off to a wonderful start in Grade 4 and amazing things await him in his life!
